His first auction experience came through a 4‑H box supper, sparking a passion for auctioneering that eventually led him to serve as President of the Colorado Auctioneers Association.
Before moving to Colorado in 1985, Jim worked as a Kansas county extension agent, strengthening his ties to agriculture and the communities he served. For more than 15 years, he has partnered with AuctionTime.com, building a reputation for honesty, consistent results, and exceptional customer loyalty, with over 80% of his sellers returning. Today, Jim’s name is widely recognized across the region.
